The description of the Project:

Sökerler Food,Cold Weather Store,Animal Husbandry,and Trading Limited Company,which started the production in June,2000 in 16.000m2 field,is excited for sharing the knowledge and experience with you precious customers.It has an expert staff in the field of Cold Weather Store since the day it was founded.

According to the report of 2014-2023 Region Plan ,Konya – Karaman Region meets the %5 cultivation of fruit of our country  whose growth is nearly seven hundred thousand tons. Although we are in an efficient point  in terms of producing amount,crops per a tree are under country avarages. In the Region,we have  nationally competitive products mainly such as apples,grapes,sour cherries,and cherries.These four fruits   form %90 percentage of total fruit growth in the Region.

In the total of the cultivation of the Country,considering the portion the Region takes,it takes place in the 3rd to grow cherry and sour cherry kiraz,and 2nd in apple growing.In recent years, considering planting fields;it is also seen serious positive rising  in Region especially in the fields of apple,cherry,sour cherry,walnut,almond,strawberry,and olives.Although Konya Karaman Region has an important role in Turkey in growing fruits and viniculture and it growths products which are highly marketable nationally or internationally,there are problems in yield,quality,standartization,and marketing.When we consider Apple and Cherry,which come forward in the Region,with the greatness of the growing fields and with the total amount of the products ,their debits are under Turkey Avarage like the  most other products although they are competitive.As our region covers a wide geographical area,the ecological specialities of every town significiantly differ from each other.So,the fruit types,which have different ecological demands from each other at the same time,cite varieties in different towns about the growth,yield,and quality.According to 2013  Orcharding event  plan;considering the Region area in general,although we have under avarege yields of Turkey about walnut and strawberry,it is observed that some of our towns have yields which are much more than the country avarege.
